Midterms

Midterms were starting to come near
They were something I was beginning to fear.
Because of my classes I only had two,
I wish I had none even though I only had few.

On Wednesday I would have Caluculus
We were able to use a flashcard so that was a plus.
English would be on Thursday,
and then I'd be done and could go play!

We got the study guides and I started to worry
I began going through my notes in a hurry.
As the tests came closer I became scared,
My biggest fear is that I wouldn't be prepared.

I felt like I knew nothing for math,
I thought I would fail and I didn't want to go down that path.
I studied a lot and went for extra help,
And by the end I didn't want to yelp.

After tons of studying and practice the test day was here
I entered the the class room with a little bit of fear,
After an hour and a half I was done,
I wasn't sure how I did, the test wasn't very fun.

There wasn't much I could do
Just wait and hope I didn't get a two.
Now the midterm process is done,
Hopefully I can start having some fun!

  1. I'm sure most of us can relate to this poem. I thought it was funny that you said that you wanted to "go play" and also that you hoped that you didn't get a two. I'm sure you did much better than that! Good job! :)
